Ecological responsibility
The life cycle of products
We guide our design and material choices to take into account the whole life cycle and circular economy aspects of the product.
In handicrafts, we aim for high-quality and long-lasting products. This is achieved by using safe materials that are best suited to the product and respectful of natural resources. Our mission is to provide guidance on how to maintain and repair products. In this way, the handicraft product will last for a long time, which makes it more ecological. However, when a product reaches the end of its life cycle, we can help you to recycle it as part of the circular economy.
When a product is well designed for its intended use and durability,
it has a place in the world.
Origin of materials
We openly disclose the origin of products and materials.
We favour locally produced materials and products. This is not always possible, but the ecological nature of products and materials is important to us. We are open about where our products and materials come from.
Material waste
We minimise material waste and make the most of wasted material.
Anticipation and planning are important in craft work. Our job as professionals is to advise and guide you in the sourcing of materials and their efficient use. Through our courses, we optimise the quantity of materials and the customer can buy only what they need.
